Counselling Program

Group counseling sessions – All beneficiaries meet with a professional counselor twice a month for a group counseling sessions.

Individual counseling sessions – During the monthly group sessions, BMA identifies individuals needing private counseling sessions and schedule these sessions with our professional counselor. Individual beneficiaries are also welcome to request sessions with the counselor.

Counseling has helped them cope with day to day challenges, with some beneficiaries leaving drug abuse, reducing alcohol intake, developing higher confidence levels, being reunited with estranged family members, improved hygiene and living a more responsible life.

In order to deal with stress and other challenges that come along with being a student, the beneficiaries shall throughout their school program meet with a professional counselor who will help them process their experiences with an aim of creating self-awareness and build a positive self-image and confidence.
