Access to education is one of the major foundations to individuals’ prosperity and expansion of one’s horizon. However, we acknowledge the reality that there are many capable yet marginalized individuals who do not have the opportunity to pursue higher education. In this program, individuals selected from challenging backgrounds are offered scholarships to pursue a course of their choice in middle-level colleges within Nairobi. The goal here is to enhance professional and technical skills that prepare them for the job market, self-employment or entrepreneurship, thus enabling them to engage in sustainable livelihoods. So far, various individuals have earned degrees, diplomas, and certificates in courses such as: – Electrical Engineering – Coffee Barrister – Heavy Machinery and Plant Operation – Computer Science – ICT – Hairdressing and/or Cosmetology – Business Management and Administration – Nutrition, – Catering, food production – Community Development and Social Work – Community Health – Journalism – Film/Video Production – Counselling Psychology – Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Accounting – Monitoring and Evaluation – Education (teaching) – Medical Laboratory Science – High school education certificate (KCSE)
